Current Artist- Kristin Goering Dr. Baker and Staff would like to introduce our current Artist, Kristin Goering. She will be displaying her artwork throughout our office. A Kansas native, Kristin recieved her Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Printmaking from Bethel College in 1991. Her representational works emphasize layers of color and texture. She switches easily between still-life, figures and landscapes, painting and monoprint. "My training as a printmaker instilled a respect for process and the influence it has on the finished piece. Recently my work has focused on bold acrylics, but I continue to mix other media into my paintings and find myself returning to prints more and more. My paintings are often personal, because I paint what moves me. Consequently subtle, emotional aspects of myself are incorporate in the finished works."
